Bob Brannan a close friend of Ministries In Action passed away last Saturday. He is with Jesus now. Bob and his wife Angie have been involved with Ministries In Action for many years. They were very instrumental in developing the Project Ebenezer ministry, and have been faithful and generous supporters of the ministry, touching the lives of many of our missionaries. Please pray for Angie Brannan and the family during this difficult time.
Please pray for the Island of Hispaniola (Dominican Republic and Haiti) as they recover from Tropical Storm Noel. Noel brought a great of amount of rain and flooding throughout the island and at least 20 individuals have lost their lives. Pray for the grieving families, that they would be comforted. Pray for the people as they begin to rebuild, and pray for Ministries In Action and other organizations as they respond.
Please pray for MIA missionaries Bresile and Marie Vita St. Germain as they continue to minister in France this week.
Please pray for MIA missionaries Lloyd and Elaine Cooke in Jamaica. Things are slowly getting back to normal in the wake of Hurricane Dean. They lost their roof during the storm and went many weeks without electricity. Power has finally been restored and progress on the roof is progressing nicely, but they are still not back to normal. Pray for them as they continue to minister despite the absence of normal living conditions. Lloyd is finishing the writing of his book and preparing for a speaking engagement next week in Kingston.
Please pray for MIA missionaries Roger and Dianne Smalling as they continue to serve faithful as MIA’s leaders for theological education (IONA) in Spanish speaking nations. They have a specific burden to see new IONA Centres open in Colombia and Peru.
MIA associate Jean Eneck Desir (Haiti) was married this weekend to his lovely bride, Aliette. Please pray that God would bless their marriage and that they would honor him as they begin to serve Him together.
