Prayer Requests – March 26, 2008

March 26, 2008

Please continue to pray for Walford Thompson as he maintains an extremely full speaking schedule. Pray for his safety as he travels and that the Lord would continue to give him the energy he needs to accomplish His work. Walford and Jen are currently in St. Vincent preparing for the arrival of a work and witness team.

Please pray for the McKillop family as they take to the road for what we hope will be their last ministry trip before they relocate to Jamaica. Pray for their safety and they will be able to be in Jamaica by June.

Praise the Lord that Gordon Woolard returned safely from ministry in Haiti last week. Pray for him as he is in Belize this week. Gordon serves in the area of theological training.

Please pray for missionary nurse Joan Page Bain in Guichard, Haiti. She has not been feeling well and was unable to travel to Port Au Prince this week to renew the permit that allows her to do ministry in Haiti. She sent some to renew this permit in her place and is hoping that this can be accomplished with out her being there in person.

They report that last week six individuals committed their lives to Christ during their ministry last week. Praise God! Please remember Marie Vita in prayer as she is experiencing pain in her knee.

Pray that construction would be completed quickly and that the church and these families will draw closer to Lord as result of this project.

She and her husband Samuel are also overseeing the construction of a small hospital in Hato Nuevo. The hospital is nearing completion. This week the installation of an oxygen system should begin. Pleas pray that it is installed safely and without complication.

Please pray for Gordon Woolard as he participates in a pastor’s conference in Haiti this week. Pray that he is used of the Lord and also for his safety as the area he is in is rather dangerous.
