This week we our staff in Miami had the privilege of spending time with Pastor Jean Eneck Desir from Haiti. Pastor Eneck works with churches in Haiti and also helps with the accommodations of our short term missionaries. Please pray for Eneck as he spends time in Miami that God would give him clear vision and guidance. Please also continue to pray for the people of Haiti. Eneck reports that although the violence has subsided for now, the situation there is still very unstable. Food prices remain high and it is difficult for humanitarian aid to get to the people.
Please pray for Neal Hegeman as he travels through South America visiting MINTS centers to teach and encourage. Pray that God will keep him safe as he travels and that he will have the energy he needs to complete the task.
Lloyd and Elaine Cooke report that the Luis Palau Evangelistic Festival in Mandeville, Jamaica went extremely well. The local police estimated that it was the largest crowd ever to assemble in Jamaica, and at least 2,700 people made decisions for Christ. Praise God! Please pray for Lloyd and the churches in Mandeville as they begin the task of following up on these decisions.
Billy and Sherry McKillop are praising God for the favorable results they are seeing after almost two years of raising funds to relocate to Jamaica as career missionaries. They have almost completed raising sufficient support and expect to be in Jamaica by June. Please continue to pray for them and for out other missionary couple who are in the process of raising support. John and Denise Lewis are raising support to begin ministry in Grenada, and Robert and Patricia Skinner are raising funds to relocate to Jamaica.
Please also pray for the Ministries In Action Counseling Center in St. Vincent. They have an urgent need for a resident counselor. Good Christian counseling is greatly needed in that community.
Thank you for your faithful prayers. When God’s people are faithful to pray He answers.

Please continue to pray for the people of Haiti. The food crisis still threatens lives. Some Haitians have begun choosing a life threatening escape by sea over continuing to face the conditions there. Several Haitians died in such an attempt last week. Pray for our ministry as we work with churches and our missionaries there to explore ways to help.
Please pray for Gordon Woolard and Marc Mailloux who are exploring the opportunity to open a theological training center for Haitians in French Guiana. They met with some people there a couple of months ago. Pray that God would raise up an individual to oversee the program there.
Please continue to pray for Roger and Dianne Smalling who are still in Mexico. Pray that they would be an encouragement to the students and leaders of twelve theological training centers in the state of Tabasco. Several of these centers have struggled in the wake of last year’s flooding.
Please join us in praying for the Luis Palau Gospel Festival that takes place this weekend in Jamaica. Lloyd Cooke has been working with churches to prepare for the event and to follow up with those who make decisions. Please pray that the weather would be good and that many new souls would enter the Kingdom of God this weekend.
Please pray for Bresile and Marie Vita St. Germain who are ministering in revival services in Filadelfia Baptist Church in Miami this week. We also wish to give God praise for the 13 people who committed their lives to Jesus during their ministry in South Florida over the last two weeks.

Please pray for our short term missionaries that are currently on the field. A team of ten short term missionaries from Elmslie Memorial Church in Grand Cayman are in the Dominican Republic this week assisting with the construction of a hospital in the small community of Hato Nuevo. They will also be helping Dr. Silvia Martinez with medical caravans to surrounding communities and doing evangelism as well.
Please pray for Kale Cameron and Graham Moon from Oregon who are heading to Jamaica to help with the some of the final construction needs of the Bamboo Missionary Church. We thank the Lord for our short term missionaries’ willingness to give their time and talents to be used of the Lord.
Hyacinth Urquhart, our Director of Project Ebenezer, returned to Miami from Jamaica this week after meeting with local leaders to strategize about some potential Project Ebenezer opportunities. Please join us in praising the Lord for her safe return and pray for her as she begins the process of working with some of these churches to build strong committees and a commencing work on the projects.
Please pray for Roger and Dianne Smalling as they head to the state of Tabasco in Mexico. They will be meeting with the leaders of several Vision R.E.A.L. theological training centers there. Some of these centers have ceased operation due to last year’s flooding of the area. Please pray that they will be encouraged by the Smalling’s visit. Pray also for Roger as he will be teaching during his time there.
As I write this message the news from Haiti indicates that the situation resulting from the food crisis has improved, but there is still a lot of tension in the air. Please pray for our full time missionaries currently in Haiti, Jean Eneck Desir and Joan Page Bain and their families during this time.
Billy and Sherry McKillop request prayer for the eight churches they visited in Pennsylvania last week. Pray for God’s provision for them and His blessing in the growth of their missions outreach and vision. Please continue to keep the McKillop family in prayer as they are still on the road raising the remainder of the monthly support they will need to start as full time missionaries in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Please pray for Bresile St. Germain, who does so much ministry with Haitian churches in South Florida. This week he will be undergoing cataract surgery on one of his eyes. Please pray that he will be able to recover quickly. Pray also for the person or persons who step in to substitute for him in ministry this week will be used by the Lord.

Please pray for the nation of Haiti, especially Port Au Prince, the capital, as much rioting has broken out there. Many people there are protesting the rising food prices. At the time this was written, five people have lost their lives and several others have been seriously injured. Haitians are already facing extremely tough economic conditions and the violence on top of that is almost unbearable. Please also pray for the safety of our missionaries that are based in Haiti, Joan Page Bain and Jean Eneck Desir. Pray for the short term team from Elmslie Memorial Church in the Cayman Islands that was scheduled to leave for Haiti this week as they decide on whether to postpone their trip or travel to the Dominican Republic instead.
Please pray for Hyacinth Urquhart as she continues to meet with pastors and church leaders in Jamaica this week to discuss future projects. Pray that she will be safe on the roads and that God will guide her and the people she meets with this week.
Please pray for Bresile and Marie-Vita St. Germain as they minister in South Florida this week at Sion Divinity Church. Pray that God will work through them and that those who attend will be blessed.
Please pray for Marc Mailloux as he travels to Martinique to teach IONA classes. Pray that God will give him wisdom as he prepares and teaches. Pray also for the students that attend, that they will be able to apply what they learn to their lives and ministries.
Please pray for Roger Smalling as he travels to Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru to work with pastors and leaders in those countries. Pray for his safety and that God will give him wisdom as he teaches and speaks.

This week Reverend Joe and Louise Grider will be joining Walford Thompson and the MIA team in St. Vincent to present a Christian education and evangelism seminar. The theme will be “Preparing Men and Women for Ministry.” Please pray that the Lord would raise up new leaders as a result of this effort and bring more lives into His Kingdom.
Please pray for Hyacinth Urquhart as she will be traveling to Jamaica this week to meet with church leaders about getting involved with Project Ebenezer. Pray the Lord will guide her and the people she meets with, so they will know His will as they plan and strategize.
Please pray for Roger Smalling as he travels to Yucatan, Mexico this week to speak in a teaching seminar for seminary students and pastors. Roger will be lecturing on the “Tough Stuff,” topics that many pastors avoid. Pray that this will be a blessing and encouragement to those in attendance.
Please continue to pray for John and Denise Lewis as they are in the process of moving from St. Vincent to Grenada. Pray that the Lord would provide for their needs as they begin to establish themselves in a new country. Pray also that God would provide a Christian counselor to continue the counseling program Denise has begun in St. Vincent.
Please pray for Onesimo and Marilda de Arruda as they continue to faithfully teach Bible and leadership classes in Brazil. They have a special concern for a Terena church in their town that has a big youth group but needs a better grounding in God’s Word.
